In my moving image work, the figures that appear in my videos are imaginary doubles of the occupants of the place where they are filmed. They bend into multi-coloured mass of fabrics and patterns: reflections. These pieces depict a world enclosed by the horizons of the crisscrossing between bodies and background. My videos have a preference of interior scenes. There is an intention of intimacy, of total construction of an environment. Therefore scenography, props and costumes are specially designed for the set. There is a subtle visual interplay between the bodies or figures and the scene, which is its extension. An echo. My sculpture works focused on some of the elements that appear in the video’s scenes. I transform it into temporal sculpture compositions that might reverberate when displayed together with the video, it has its autonomy beside the world were they bellowed.  When the work is installed in the space I want it to resonate. I consider exhibition sites as the fantastical of not-quite-knowing. I hardly ever use the walls, instead onto mural-scale freestanding –at times undulating- screens. This intensifies the sense of magic and illusion that pervades the video. The movement of the screen also breaks up the projected image in a gentle but sometimes disorienting way, just as dreams break up normal imagery in the theatre of the unconscious into something that is hard to describe or to grasp. Constellations of moving patterns through human bodies are presented like large-scale decorations from a theatre set. Hence, the work has turned in the background accomplishing the viewer.
